ABOUT

I was born in Medellín, Colombia, a magical and paradoxical place which continues to inspire me. From an early age, I became fascinated by the vast differences between social classes, and how this gap marked the lives and destiny of people. A sensibility towards the human condition influences my vision and is present in the selection of themes an ideas for my personal projects. I am interested in making images that go beyond cultural cliches, and that focus on our commonalities rather than our differences. I currently live in Los Angeles with my wife and two daughters.
