Iconic as the palm trees that have made the city of Los Angeles famous, taco trucks are a constant presence in the streets of this megalopolis. Also known as "loncheras", food trucks have thrived because of the way the city is developed and provide employment for many inmigrants from south of the border. Their itinerant nature, makes them very adaptable to changing circumstances, economic and other. In the last few years the trend has expanded to other culinary traditions beyond Mexican and central American. This series is about the original Mexican trucks and their vernacular signage.
